The ‎ Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is the Communications Regulator in the state of Qatar established by virtue of Emiri Decree (42) in 2014. Individual Licenses granted to enable the provision of telecommunications services stipulate that licensees shall pay annual fees in the form of Industry Fee and License Fee. The Instruction on the methodology and timelines for Annual Fees Payment (Industry and License Fee) explains in detail how the Industry Fee and License Fee are to be calculated. It also clearly states when the two elements of each of the Fees payments (i.e. Provisional Payment and True-Up) are due, how to pay and what supporting documentation shall be provided to ictQATAR to justify the payment.
