The ‎ Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is the Communications Regulator in the state of Qatar established by virtue of Emiri Decree (42) in 2014. The CRA regulates the Telecommunications and Information Technology sector, postal services, access to digital media and spectrum. The CRA encourages and supports an open and competitive Information & Communications Technology (ICT) sector that provides advanced, innovative, and reliable communications services. Balancing the rights of consumers with the needs of service providers is at the heart of everything the CRA does.

The document of this page is the Qatar National Frequency Allocation Table (QNFAT) which contains details of allocation of frequency bands on international and national levels as well as conditions under which many radiocommunication services could use the same frequency band. The QNFAT is considered a national reference for allocating spectrum bands for services for different type of spectrum users. It is subject to periodical revisions in conformity with requirements which are imposed by new national and international regulations which refer to allocation of frequency bands.
