Mobile Number Portability, a service that allows consumers to switch from one service provider to another while keeping their original mobile number, is now available in Qatar, as of January 31, 2013. Consumers will be able to directly approach the service provider they wish to switch to and apply to port their number. This is a Frequently Asked Questions document to address any questions consumers might have about the service.
